Ersan Ersu was born in 1967. After finishing St Georg Austrian Highschool, he studied bussiness management in English at Istanbul University. After he graduated, he started working as a licenced tour guide in 1986. His hobbies are science-fiction, model making and computers. His specialties are Ancient Greek script and Roman ruins along with religious tours. He likes being a tour guide because it is a fulfilling job that gives the opportunity to meet many people with different backgrounds, ideas and walks of life and to see the happy expression on people’s faces at the end of tours.
He has been leading Road Scholar programs since 2008. ‘’I enjoy Road Scholar programs as the participants’ primary aim is to learn. We can discuss topics in depth, exchange ideas which makes the program much more fun’’ he says.
