Dear Kazim, This message is long overdue.  We had the most wonderful time on our “Ancient Capitals” program in Istanbul this past April!  It was a perfect five days – with memories that will last a lifetime – and left us wanting to come back for more.  Senol Ogru is a great guide!!  We enjoyed getting to know him, and our enthusiasm for Turkey grew from his own knowledge and passion for Turkish history, culture and civilization.  He took good care of us, and we were fortunate to have him.  We want to wish you and Senol a very happy new year. Hi Kazim,  We are safely back home and savoring the memories from our wonderful trip.  Just wanted to say thank you again for your assistance in arranging the itinerary and details for the trip.  Everything went smoothly and we were in good hands from the minute we arrived.  Knowing that you were always available by phone gave us an added level of security that we much appreciated. The guides and drivers were extremely professional and knowledgeable and we enjoyed spending time with each of them.  Hotels were even better than we anticipated and each added to the overall experience.  The cooking class with Eveline was a highlight both in terms of the food and the people we met.  We definitely hope to make a return trip in the near future as we feel we barely scratched the surface of the country.  The culture and history, the people, the food…all combined to make it a fantastic experience.  Kind regards,

Hi Kazim, My grandson, Chase, and I are still talking about the grand tour of Turkey that you provided for us this summer (Road Scholar’s Intergenerational program); if you ever need a recommendation or have someone who would like to talk to me about the trip, feel free to give them my email address.    It was truly wonderful one of the best I’ve ever taken, and I say that having traveled in many countries of the world, sometimes on my own but often with organized groups (I had been to Turkey twice before).   Thank you very much for setting up such an interesting, well-paced tour.  Yasemin, our guide, was the star.   She was clearly the best informed, responsible, thoughtful and caring guide I’ve ever had.   She was an exceptionally good guide for a group with children.    She easily kept their attention but never had to talk “down” to any of us.   Yasemin is very bright and has had a great education; I don’t think any of us ever asked her a factual questions (history, cultural, political) that she could not immediately answer.   She is a tremendous resource for you.  With many thanks, Kazim, for all your personal attention,

Dear Kazim, I wanted to thank Baltac tours for arranging the absolutely perfect trips to Cappadocia and Ephesus.  The Yunak Evleri was a beautiful hotel with great service and Nihat was an amusing and interesting guide.  The Nisanyan Hotel was an unexpected paradise…one which I absolutely did not want to leave!  The local guide, Ugur, was a treasure…. We also thank you for your recommendation of the Armada Hotel….it was perfect.  We traveled extensively by foot, by tram, and by boat…tasted the flavors of Turkey at every food stand, ate in some good restaurants and spent our last full day on the largest of the “Princes’” islands.  I did not want to return to New York!   Again, I thank you for the arrangements, suggestions etc. and I will certainly recommend Baltac to anyone remotely interested in visiting your Country.  Very truly yours,
